Police told the Hour that they received a complaint on Sept. 29 that 55-year-old Alan Arndt had threatened to kill a family member. When officers arrived on scene Arndt was not there, but they were able to obtain a warrant for his arrest, according to the Hour. The family member called the police on Tuesday to report that Arndt was banging on the door after being served with eviction papers and told to leave, the Hour reported.

Police arrested Arndt and charged him with second-degree threatening, according to the Hour. After he signed a release form saying he would not contact the family member, police received a complaint from the family member, who reported that Arndt had called from the holding area, according to the Hour. He was arrested again and charged with violating the conditions of his release and second-degree breach of peace, according to the Hour.
