Mother And Six Children Missing - Police, DCF Seek The Public's Help

A mother and her six children have gone missing and the police are seeking the public’s help to locate the family.

On Friday, Nov. 20, at 10:30 a.m., Springfield Police issued an alert for Christamarie Derby, 33, and her six children.

The children are believed to be with Derby in the Springfield or Chicopee area. Both the Springfield Police and the Department of Children and Families is seeking Derby. DCF has not heard from her since Tuesday, Nov. 17.

The children are ages 2 through 13. 

Their names are Junemarie Leggett, 2, (not pictured in the above photo); Julius Leggett, 5; Jaliyahmarie Marrero, 6; Nathaniel Marrero, 9, Daimyon Marrero, 10; and Xzavier Marquez, 13.

Anyone with information about Derby and the children is asked to call police at (413) 750-2253 or 911. Tips can also be texted to police: text CRIMES (274637), type SOLVE and the tip.
