A 60-year-old man was arrested following a domestic dispute in which he allegedly hit two people.
Robert Bowtell, of Darien, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 10, after police responded a residence on Nearwater Lane in regards to a domestic incident, said Sgt. James Palmieri.
Upon arrival, officers met with one of the victims who said that they and another person had been in the home when Bowtell came home and was very upset, said Palmieri.
The victim told officers that a physical altercation took place between all three at which time Bowtell allegedly struck both people, Palmieri added.
When interviewed, Bowtell admitted to striking one person but denied striking the other, Palmieri said.
Bowtell was charged with disorderly conduct and assault and issued a misdemeanor summons and released.
