NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police have released surveillance photos of a man suspecting of shooting a 28-year-old woman at a bar on Wall Street earlier this month.
Just after 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, officers patrolling Wall Street were flagged down by an employee of Market Bistro and Bar, located at 64 Wall St. The employee told the officers that a woman had been shot inside the bar. Police went in and found a 28-year-old woman suffering from a single gunshot wound to the torso.
The woman was taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Police searched the area for the suspect, but he was not located. Witnesses told investigators that the suspect fled the scene after the assault. Surveillance cameras show the suspect as he exits the bar, according to police.
