Fire Breaks Out In Building At Boatyard On Norwalk Harbor

NORWALK, Conn. — Firefighters doused a blaze in a building at a boatyard on Norwalk Harbor on Tuesday evening, according to The Hour.

The fire broke out at about 6 p.m. to G&C Marine Services at 108 Water St., The Hour said. 

Smoke was coming from the roof, door and a window in the office, and the staff had gone home for the day, The Hour said.

The fire in the building was under investigation, The Hour said, and no boats were damaged. 

Water, Haviland and Elizabeth streets were closed while the blaze was extinguished.
