Car Fire Extinguished In South Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk police officers and firefighters tackled a car fire in South Norwalk on Thursday morning, according to a Tweet from the police department.

The car fire closed down North Main Street near the Palace Production Center, the Tweet said.

The fire broke out before 7:30 a.m. in the interior of an unoccupied car and was fully involved when firefighters arrived, The Hour said. Traffic was detoured while firefighters put out the blaze, the Hour said.
