An 18-year-old Connecticut man was gunned down and killed on a city street during broad daylight and another was injured.
The incident took place in Hartford around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20 in the area of 640 Broad St.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, Hartford Police officers were dispatched to the area of 640 Broad Street on a ShotSpotter activation. Upon arrival, evidence of gunfire was located.
While on scene, an area hospital reported two gunshot victims arriving for treatment. One of the victims, identified as Ernesto Morales, of Manchester, was pronounced dead at the hospital, Boisvert said.
The second victim, a male in his 20s suffered from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was listed in stable condition, Boisvert added.
