Princess Lovina Wright, 91, Of Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. -- Princess Lovina Wright, of Norwalk, died Oct. 10 in Norwalk. She was 91.

Born April 30, 1924, in Jamaica, she was the daughter of Thomas Wright and Edith McIntyer-Wright and has lived in Norwalk since 1974.

Wright worked for many years in Jamaica and in Wilton as a nanny. She was involved with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church as both a deaconess and a missionary.

Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Hudson; a brother, Jonathan Wright; sisters, Alverga Wright and Phyllis Wright-Grey; grandchildren, Sandralee Guytan, Christopher and Kingsley Hudson; great- granddaughters, Shaleza, Taijaih, Jade and Jasmine; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Wright was predeceased by siblings Rashford, Reginald, Harris and Claudius Wright, Doris Wright-Hunter, and Ivorin Wright-Rodney.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 96 S. Main St., Norwalk with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.

The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until services begin Saturday.
