NORWALK, CONN. -- Peter P. Wisniewski of Norwalk died Tuesday, Sept. 1. He was 69.
Wisniewski was born on May 18, 1946, in Hoboken, N.J. to Joseph and Lucille Wisniewski.
A voracious reader and lifelong Yankees fan, Wisniewski was star athlete at Weehawken High School and a dual-sport athlete and a Class of 1915 award winner at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his master's in business administration from the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.
In addition to his wife, Judy (Eisenman), Wisniewski is survived by his children, Abigail Callahan (Robert) of Milton, Mass., Peter A. Wisniewski (Christina) of New York City, and Jed Wisniewski of Norwalk; and grandchildren Eliza, Sam, Sara, Peter, Meredith, and Aleksandr.
He is also survived by his brother, Joseph; and sisters Lucy Sabato and Barbara DeLorenzo.
He was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Kelly.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
A prayer service will take place at 12 noon. Private burial will be at a later date.
