Patrick Aprea, 84, Norwalk Barber, Lifelong Resident

NORWALK, Conn. – Patrick Joseph Aprea, a lifelong Norwalk resident, died Dec. 10 at Norwalk Hospital. He was 84.

Born Nov. 28, 1929, in Norwalk, he was the son of James Vencenzo and Josephine Trepani Aprea. A fifth generation barber, Aprea owned Aprea’s Barber Shop. He was a member of the Sons of Italy and a president of the Barbers Union.

Aprea was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth James Aprea. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon P. (Stephanie Klezun) Raymond, of Watertown, Conn., and Christine Aprea, of Norwalk; two grandchildren and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery.
