Born March 27, 1927, in Norwalk, Pollastro was a daughter of James and Julia Sullivan McNerney. She was married to Dominick A. Pollastro for 65 years.
She worked for SNET and Data Switch for many years. A member of the Columbiettes, she liked to crochet and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pollastro is survived by her husband; two daughters, Donna P. (Benjamin) Olmstead and Karen P. (George) Giannitti, both of Norwalk; a son, Eugene D. (Jennifer) Pollastro, of Honeoye Falls, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. Jerome Church. Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk handled arrangements.
