He was born on July 29, 1925, in Norwalk, to Margaret and Morris Nocero.
Nocero served in the Navy from 1943-45.
He worked for many years at the First District Water Department and Wilton Motors.
Survivors include his two daughters, Margaret Nocero of Norwalk and Maria (Frank) Peloso of Easton; one son, Louis Nocero Jr. of Norwalk; and three grandchildren.
His wife, Dolores Nocero, is deceased.
Calling hours will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the St. Philip Church, One Father Conlon Place, Norwalk.
Burial with military honors will follow in the St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice Health Care, 99 Hawley Lane, Stratford, CT 06614, or to St. Philip Church, One Father Conlon Place, Norwalk, CT 06851.
