NORWALK, Conn. – Louis John Medico Jr., 62, husband of Mollie (Lindgren) Medico and father of Danial Harrison Medico, died Monday, May 25, at Norwalk Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Aug. 10, 1952, in Yonkers, N.Y., he was the son of Louis J. and Florence Medico. He worked as a field service supervisor for Petro and worked within that organization for nearly 40 years. He was famous for his cooking capabilities, his love of barbecue, his big heart and his robust laugh.
In addition to his wife and son, he is survived two brothers, a sister, a niece and two nephews.
A memorial Mass and celebration of life will be held Thursday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave., Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to P.A.W.S. of Norwalk is requested. At the request of the family, there will be no visiting hours, and the burial will be private.
