NORWALK, Conn. – Joan Ellen Scordamaglia, of Norwalk and formerly of Brookhaven Hamlet, N.Y., died at her home on Monday, Feb. 15, She was 57.
Scordamaglia was born in Bellport, N.Y., on Nov. 13, 1958 to Dr. Louis and Elizabeth Scordamaglia, graduating from Bellport High School and Boston College and working for several firms as an accountant.
She was predeceased by her parents, and survived by seven siblings, Lois and husband James Benfield, James and wife Kate of West Sayville, Kathryn and husband Michael McLean, Nancy and husband David Tyner of New Orleans, Aimee and partner Peter Fischbach of Tewksbury, N.J., Ann and husband Russell Gough of Ridgefield, and Louis and wife Lisa of Bellport, N.Y., 14 nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be on Saturday, Feb. 27 at noon at St. Phillip Church, located at 1 Father Conlon Place in Norwalk.
Interment was held in private.
