She was the wife for 29 years of Victor E. Budnik.
She was born April 29, 1953, in Queens, N.Y., the daughter of Cornelius and Jane Jansen of Pebble Beach, Calif.
She was a graduate of Western Connecticut State College, class of 1974, and had been working as a human resources supervisor for MBI.
She was very involved with St. Jerome Church in Norwalk.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children, Vanesa Furnari of Honolulu, Richard Vincent Furnari and his wife, Shaylyn, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; her siblings, Lee Gregg of Menlo Park, Calif., Karen Jansen-Woolson of Palo Alto, Calif., Richard Jansen of Darien and Janet Murray of Jeffersonville, Vt.; her grandchildren, Sofia, Ace and Ash Furnari; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
Her family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, on Monday, Dec. 21, from 5-8 p.m.
