Anna Mae Ross, 85, Lifelong Norwalk Resident

NORWALK, Conn. — Lifelong Norwalk resident Anna Mae Ross died Wednesday, May 4. She was 85. 

A former employee of MBI, Ross also was a member of the Norwalk Senior Center, the Widow and Widowers Assoc. and the Red Hat Ladies. 

She enjoyed playing bingo, pinochle, watching Jeopardy and reading mystery stories.

Ross is survived by sons, Joseph F. Ross and his wife Kathleen, and Robert Ross and his partner Lynn Delrocco; daughters, Doreen Havens and her husband Peter, Leslie Vagnone and her husband Ted, and Cathleen Clark and her husband Donald. She also is survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Sulla II and John Sulla; and her sister Lillian Rackett. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. 

Her family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Wilton Meadows and the hospice volunteers.
