NORWALK, Conn. – Alfred Clarence Jackson Sr., a resident of Norwalk, died Sunday, March 13. He was 83.
He was born in Norwalk on April 25, 1932, to the late Clarence Alfred and Florence Jackson. He worked in many places in his life, including: the Potato Chip Company, City of Norwalk, and many of the Norwalk Schools.
He is survived by his son, Alfred Jackson, of Shelton; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Flossie Harriet Thompson; his daughter; and his brothers, Howard, Walter, Edward, and Art; along with his sister, Mildred Jackson.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk. Services will be held on Friday, March 18 at 10 a.m. at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harvester Rd., Easton.
