Westport Man Faces Sexual Assault Charge

A Westport man has been charged with sexual assault after being arrested at police headquarters on Tuesday.

The alleged offender, Kenneth Cardillo, 67, was charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault around 11 a.m., said Westport Police Lt. Jillian Cabana.

Because the arrest has been sealed for 14 days, details of the incident are not available, Cabana said.
