The Republican Town Committee nominated Artie Kassimis to be their candidate for the State Senate. Kassimis will challenge Democrat incumbent, Bob Duff to represent the 25th District, which includes Norwalk and parts of Darien.
If you believe we need a change, I bring forth the name of Artie Kassimis for that change, said delegate Rick McQuaid, as he made the official nomination. Artie is capable of digging in and working hard to find solutions. Laurie Williamson seconded the nomination.
Kassimis, a former businessman who is now the pastor of the Word Alive Bible Church in Norwalk, has said his priorities will be creating jobs and cutting taxes. I am officially putting the incumbent and his party on notice,'' Kassimis said in accepting the nomination.
