The closure, early Saturday evening, June 6, is northbound between Exit 15 and Exit 16.

Just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Norwalk Police said there were now road closures now in the area of South Main Street near police headquarters, and motorists should avoid the area.

The protests began at Norwalk City Hall.
