Police: Woman Rams Man's Car in Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – A Thursday morning collision between two cars on Connecticut Avenue was not an accident, Norwalk Police say. Latoya Bush, 26, of Bridgeport, intentionally rammed the car her ex-boyfriend was driving and then chasd him onto I-95 and hit the vehicle again at exit 25, Sgt. Lisa Cotto said.

The 44-year-old victim had a fight with Bush and decided to break up with her, Cotto said. He packed up his things, borrowed his mother's 2010 Mercedes Benz to transport them and spent Wednesday night at the DoubleTree Hotel at 789 Connecticut Ave. Thursday morning, he found Bush in the hotel's parking lot and they argued before he drove away.

She followed him in a 1998 Buick. He was sitting at the traffic light in front of Stop and Shop and could see her come up behind him at a high rate of speed and he braced for a collision. The car spun around after it was rear ended and sustained considerable damage, but he was not injured, Cotto said.

She pursued him onto the freeway. After hitting the Mercedes a second time she left the scene, Cotto said

Cotto said the victim reported the incident to Bridgeport police, who referred him to Norwalk police. Officers contacted Bush, who came to headquarters and agreed with the account given by the victim, Cotto said. Bush was given a summons for reckless endangerment second degree and disorderly conduct.
