The prospective builder/operators, Go Ape!, told the city's Park's and Cultural Affairs Committee earlier this week, it plans calls for creating a tree-top adventure course, including a zip-line, on less than a one-acre area of the park near the bunkhouse, said The Hour.
The operators said the the course would operate from April through November and would not damage the trees or impact the park's walking trails, said The Hour. In addition, the group would pay the city $15,000 a year, as well as part of its gross revenues, added The Hour.
The committee will have a public information session at 6:30 p.m.Wednesday, Jan. 27 at City Hall, 125 East Ave.
