NORWALK, Conn. -- A train ride without something to read can be a burden. Commuters at the South and East Norwalk railroad stations no longer have to worry when they forget their own reading materials.
The Norwalk Public Library has worked with the Norwalk Parking Authority to provide library books in the lobby of the westbound side of the South Norwalk station and in the station house of the East Norwalk Station.
The library restocks the shelves every Monday and Friday.
Commuters do not need a library card to take a book.
People can help the library and the parking authority encourage literacy by donating books to the main library.
