FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A police chase ended in a deadly crash in Norwalk, actress Mary Tyler Moore died in Greenwich, and protestors shouted down a Greenwich official as he walked into a Stamford courthouse to face charges of sexual assault as the Daily Voice look back at the top stories of the week.

The driver was killed and the passenger seriously injured after they crashed into rocks and a tree before spinning into a creek during a police pursuit Thursday in a residential neighborhood in West Norwalk , police said. The officer who attempted to stop the car was responding to an unrelated call about a police foot chase of a man wanted on numerous drug charges, Norwalk Police said. State Police are investigating the incident.

Chris Von Keyserling, a member of the Greenwich Representative Town Meeting, had nothing to say as he walked past a crowd of chanting demonstrators on his way to his first court appearance on a sexual assault charge. That came two weeks after Greenwich Police charged him with fourth-degree sexual assault for allegedly pinching a town worker in the groin after a heated political discussion in December. Von Keyserling's lawyer entered a plea of not guilty on his behalf.

Greenwich police were searching for a man who robbed the Patriot National Bank on Mason Street at gunpoint on Wednesday and was last seen fleeing into Port Chester, N.Y.

Beloved actress Mary Tyler Moore died Wednesday at the age of 80 in Greenwich, where she lived. The star of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show" was to be buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield on Sunday.
