Holiday Will Change Norwalk Trash Pickup Schedule

NORWALK, Conn. – Garbage and recycling services in Norwalk will not run on the usual schedule this week due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Waste and recycling normally picked up on Mondays will be picked up on Tuesdays, and all other regularly scheduled services will also run a day behind this week, according to a press release. Tuesday routes will be picked up on Wednesday, and so on until Friday routes are picked up on Saturday.

Also, the Norwalk Transfer Station at Crescent Street and the Yard Debris Site at South Smith Street will be closed Monday. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday.
