The Honorable Robert Genuario was confirmed Wednesday night as a Connecticut Superior Court Judge. The former state senator for Norwalk, Genuario currently serves as secretary of the state Office of Policy and Management. Gov. M. Jodi Rell nominated the Norwalk resident and the state Judiciary Committee approved the nomination by a vote of 37 to 3. "I have every confidence in (Bob's) judgment and abilities," said Sen. Bob Duff. "I firmly believe that the people of our state will only benefit from his service and his deep knowledge of and respect for the law will be an asset to the Superior Court bench."
