NORWALK, Conn. — Delays were reported Wednesday morning on the New Haven Line after damage to overhead wires stopped a train in its tracks between East Norwalk and South Norwalk.

Trains riders should anticipate delays of 30 to 40 minutes, Metro-North said.

The passengers on the 7:19 a.m. train bound for Grand Central were transferred onto another train after the problem occurred at about 8;15 a.m. near the Walk Bridge, the Connecticut Post said.
