The gift to the foundation was possible as a result of HomeServe employees raising nearly $11,500 through several charitable initiatives, which was then matched by the Company. Employees participated in a Jeans for Wishes initiative that included sale of passes allowing staff to wear jeans to the office, bake sales and a raffle – with all proceeds going to the foundation.
The donation from HomeServe will go toward supporting upcoming wishes fulfilled by Make-A-Wish, as the organization’s steady pipeline and has already filled 75 wishes this summer in Connecticut alone.
