Norwalk needs lifeguards. With the summer beach season fast approaching, the city is accepting applications from qualified candidates. Those who wish to apply should hold current certification from the Red Cross for CPR and first aid as well as for lifeguard. Pay ranges from $10 to $13 an hour and the season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Applications are available at the personnel office in City Hall.
