Also known as lionfish, the "turkey fish" resembles a male turkey in full display. Philip Stone Caterers will serve free samples of turkey fish ceviche in support of a federal "Eat Lionfish" campaign.

Eating lionfish helps control the population of the invasive species and offers relief to overfished species like snapper and grouper.

Turkey Fish Weekend also features turkey fish craft, a photo opp and a live fish exhibit. All activities are free with Aquarium admission.

In addition to the lionfish, the Aquarium will spotlight other invasive species and the threat they pose.
