Time To Reserve Child's Spot At Norwalk Aquarium For Spring Break

Jiggle A Jelly, where visitors can safely touch one is on tap for kids at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk.

The "Dragon" exhibit starring a rare, black dragon, is part of the "Connecticut Attraction," open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Aquarium offers special programs for kids, ages 6 to 12 during the upcoming spring break week, April 11 to 15.

In Spring Vacation Adventures, kids 6 to 12, explore a different part of the Aquarium's watery world each day. Kids, ages 9 to 12, can dabble in the activities of real marine biologists, from fish dissections to aquarium set-up and maintenance. 

All programs meet from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-care from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and post-care from 4 to 5:30 p.m. is also available during spring break week.

The Spring Vacation Adventures program is $100 per day or $500 for the full week. ($90 / $450 for Maritime Aquarium members.)

Pre-care is $20 additional per day or $85 for the week. Post-care is $40 per day or $170 for the week. 

Maritime Aquarium members receive discounts. 

Children should bring a snack, a bag lunch and an appetite for adventure. The Aquarium requires health-exam forms for every child enrolled. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
