Rowayton Arts Center Sets Up Winter Season Exhibitions

ROWAYTON, Conn. -- As part of its winter season, the Rowayton Arts Center is displaying the exhibitions: "Beyond Brushwork" and "Retrospective."

Right out of the gate is the exhibition “Beyond Brushwork,” featuring art work created or enhanced with tools other than the paint brush. The exhibit is juried by Arianne Kolb and co-chaired by Dana Laird and Gregg Weiz. 

Come back and see the work of Ron Taylor in his solo “Retrospective” in the Portside Gallery. The opening reception is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. 

Taylor, a former longtime resident of Norwalk, works in oils, pencils, pen and ink. 

Both exhibitions continue until Feb. 21. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Admission is free. 

The Rowayton Arts Center Art School offers year-round classes and workshops for people of all ages and levels. For more information, please click here.
