NORWALK, Conn. – Senate Majority Bob Duff (D-Norwalk) will host an interactive discussion at Norwalk Community College to help area residents identify scams and learn valuable techniques to prevent them from becoming victims of fraud.
“Scammers’ tactics are getting more deceptive and advanced,” Duff said. “That’s why I am working with the Norwalk Police Department, United States Postal Inspector and AARP to provide you with the information you need to avoid becoming a victim of fraud.”
The free event is at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the college, 188 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
Scheduled guest speakers include a local U.S. Postal Service Inspector, members of the Norwalk Police Departmen, and an AARP representative.
