NORWALK, Conn. -- At 8:40 a.m. Friday, Norwalk Community College President David L. Levinson will lead an observance of the 14th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The observance will be in the East Campus atrium.

Levinson will say a few words in honor of those lost, and then at precisely 8:46 a.m., the time the first plane hit the World Trade Center, he will lead a moment of silence.

The remembrance ceremony will include an open mic session for anyone who would like to share their thoughts.

The event is free and open to the public.

The college is at 188 Richards Ave.
