Norwalk Community College Culinary Competition Will Aid Shelter

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Community College culinary program will compete in a "Chopped"-style cooking competition at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Aitoro appliance store, 401 Westport Ave., Norwalk.

The contest will benefit Open Door Shelter in Norwalk.

Norwalk Community College chef Jeff Trombetta has brought NCC's cooking classes to the Open Door Shelter to create special meals for the homeless as part of the NCC Community Outreach project.
