Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling and his wife helped introduce the new and improved Bow Tie Cinemas in South Norwalk at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 19.
The redesigned SoNo Regent 8 now features 100 percent digital screens and premium sound systems, luxury recliner stadium seating, and reserved seating for all auditoriums.
Throw in a casual restaurant menu and a full bar -- with entrees/cocktails delivered to your seat -- and you may never want to leave.
Patrons can select from three cheese mac and cheese, artisanal pizzas, eggplant parmesan fries, chicken tenders, and other offerings not previously available in movie theater environs.
A notable craft beer selection, variety of wines, and premium spirits and cocktails made to order–including seasonal sangria and margaritas–as well as your usual sodas round out the libations.
And, of course, there's popcorn.
Bow Tie Cinemas traces its origins to 1900 and currently operates 267 screens at 42 locations across six states with eight locations in Fairfield County. The Norwalk location is at 64 N Main St.
