NORWALK, Conn. -- At 6-foot-4, Norwalk resident Marlon Alexander is all about going "big" and going "bold."
A graduate of California's Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts, who, through various Hollywood jobs, cooked for KISS, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Eddie Murphy, Christina Aguilera and Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, among others.
In 2008, he added the role of private chef to his resume, working for a member of the royal family in Kuwait for two years.
Now he's in Fairfield County and looking to build his private chef business across Connecticut and New York. Though classically-trained in French cuisine, Chef Alexander said he can do anything a client wants.
"From the hillside in Lebanon to cooking on a private ship in Cabo Mexico, food is about experience," he said. "What sets me apart from most chefs is my bigger than life personality. I believe life is about good friends, great food and respectable cocktails."
He has already put together everything from a cocktail party in a warehouse in Brooklyn to a loft in Greenwich Village to a claim bake in Rowayton.Go HERE for more information or call 323-440-4138.
