Colony Grill Serves Up First Slice In New Norwalk Location

NORWALK, Conn. — Colony Grill’s legendary hot oil pizza has arrived in Norwalk.

The eatery, located off a courtyard in the Waypointe District Apartments at 515 West Ave., is the newest location for a culinary institution has been serving up pizza and drinks since 1935 in Stamford. 

"In 1935, a post-Prohibition tavern named Colony Grill opened in an Irish neighborhood in Stamford, Connecticut," according to the eatery's website. "Since then, the 'Colony' has become famous for what is now its only menu offering: a one-of-a-kind, thin-crust pizza that is served simply – with or without our signature hot oil – amid classic American charm."
