Danbury High Pre-Engineering Program Places First In Rube Goldberg Contest

DANBURY, Conn. -- Danbury High School's Connecticut Pre-Engineering Program earned first place recently in a regional Rube Goldberg Machine Competition High School Challenge during the Lower Hudson Valley Engineering Expo in White Plains, N.Y.

The winning team was made up of six Danbury High School students: Tommy George, Steven Schwab, Sameena Shaffeullah, Anjali Pai, Alexandra Prendergast and Fawaaz Shaffeullah, led by CPEP’s team adviser Linda Kimble.

They will be competing in the nationals in Wisconsin.

The team competed against 10 other teams in the region.
