BETHEL, Conn. — A fire under a dump truck on I-84 was doused Wednesday by crews on Engine 1 from the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company, according to a Facebook post.
The Connecticut State Police and Connecticut Department of Transportation also responded to handle the fire.
The fire occurred on I-84 east between Exits 8 and 9. The blaze was contained with fire extinguishers.
