Southbury Police Seek Info About Discarded ATM

SOUTHBURY, CONN. -- An ATM machine, apparently discarded by thieves, was found behind office/industrial building complex in Southbury Wednesday, police say.

The ATM looked like it had been broken into, but police did not say how much, if any, money was taken.

State troopers found the machine around 7:23 a.m. near a wooded area behind 1266 Main St. South.

The case is being handled by Southbury police, but detectives from the state police’s Western District Major Crime unit are aiding the investigation.
