A resident reported on April 30 that a mailbox had been knocked down, police said.

But when officers arrived, they discovered that an unknown suspect or suspects had entered both the garage and a vehicle parked outside the residence. A further investigation found that several cars in the area of The Boulevard and Budd Drive had also been damaged or entered and items were missing, police said.

Several mailboxes in the area were also damaged or removed from the property, police said.

Police are urging residents to keep their vehicles locked to prevent thefts.
