NEWTOWN, Conn. -- Newtown police charged a town man with home invasion who shot through a door in an attempt to break in to a residence on Andras Road early Sunday, according to NBC Connecticut.
Officers responding to reports of gunshot at 4 a.m. found 27-year-old Michael Dziubina of Newtown standing near a broken exterior door with a small pistol in his hand, police told NBC Connecticut.
Dziubina was charged with home invasion, first-degree burglary, first-degree reckless endangerment, unlawful discharge of a firearm and first-degree criminal mischief and held on $100,000 bond, NBC Connecticut said.
