NEWTOWN, Conn. -- A Sandy Hook man was arrested by Newtown Police and charged with driving under the influence with two small children in the car, according to police.
Louis Cocozza, 51, was charged with driving under the influence and risk or injury to a minor on June 12 after Newtown Police received a report that he had left his home with the two children, police said.
Police stopped Cocozza on Great Ring Road where he was arrested. Cocozza was released on $500 bond. The two minor children were returned to their mother, police said.
