Newtown Hook And Ladder Gives Update On Firehouse Construction

NEWTOWN, Conn. -- The Newtown Hook & Ladder Company's new firehouse under construction is coming right along, even in the cold weather.

The firehouse crew recently provided an update, which includes news that the full front of the building is on, the roof is complete, the windows are in, and the outside doors are being installed.

Now construction can continue inside, out of the elements. The plastic over the bay doors holds in temporary heat while the apparatus floor was poured and curing takes place.
