According to the Greenwich Police Department, on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the woman (pictured above) entered two separate branches of the same local bank and attempted to obtain information from an account that was not hers.

In order to do that, police said that she used a fraudulent government ID.

After being thwarted by bank employees both each instance, the woman left the bank and fled east on East Putnam Ave before entering the passenger side of a black Jeep with an unknown temporary registration plate parked on Strickland Road.

Anyone who recognizes the woman, or the vehicle, is asked to contact investigators at the Greenwich Police Department by calling (203) 622-8004 or emailing information to TIPS@GreenwichCT.org, referencing case number 20-004493.
