Douglas Russell, 57, received accelerated rehabilitation for the charge of simple trespass and disorderly conduct, WLAD reported. The charges stem from an incident in December, where Russell is accused of going onto his neighbor's property and lingering inappropriately while looking through a window, according to WLAD.

Under accelerated rehabilitation, if Russell completes counseling and does not get arrested again, his charges will be dropped.

Russell is a former Newtown High School special education teacher who coached girls cross country and track and field, according to WLAD. He resigned in February, WLAD reported.
