BETHEL, Conn. -- First responders had to extricate a driver from a vehicle that rolled over onto its roof Monday on Route 6 in Bethel by Old Hawleyville Road in front of the Big Y supermarket.
Stony Hill Volunteer Fire and EMS crews and the Bethel Police Department responded to the accident at 12:14 p.m.
Working personnel had to remove the driver's side door to free the driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, fire officials said.
The driver was taken to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company.
