'Coffee With A Cop' To Provide Venue For Bethel Police, Community Relations

BETHEL, Conn. -- The Bethel Police Department has scheduled a "Coffee with a Cop" event for Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Jacqueline's Restaurant and Bakery.

The event is meant to provide a venue for the community and police officers to talk about local issues over coffee, according to the department.

There is no agenda and there are no scheduled speeches, but community members are urged to ask questions, voice their opinions and get to know their local officers.

The event is scheduled from 8:30-10 a.m. at the bakery, 138 Greenwood Ave., Bethel.
