BETHEL, Conn. -- A car struck the Bethel Board of Education chairman on Greenwood Avenue during the town's annual Winterfest on Friday, reports newstimes.com.
Witnesses said Larry Craybas went in the street to slow down a fast-moving car, according to the the story. He was transported to Danbury Hospital and treated for minor injuries, the newstimes said.
He used the Bethel CT Forum Facebook page to thank emergency responders and the public for their assistance, the article says.
